I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2002 with a BS in Elementary Education (I'm also ESL/GT/Early Childhood Certified). This will be my 11th year teaching and there are big changes in store for me, as I'm moving to a different elementary school in our district and returning to 1st after teaching 3rd for a few years. It's scary and exciting but 1st holds a special spot in my heart and I can't wait to get back to it! It is definitely a rewarding grade to teach!
When I'm not teaching, I'm loving life with Mr. Larson, Chase (he's going into 2nd grade) and Emery (she'll be 3 in October). We also have an English Bulldog, Princess Leia, and a French Bulldog, Yoda, that keep us plenty busy!
